The app does not require an account, contains no ads, and does not use analytics or any personal or device identifiers. It does not connect to the internet at all, so nothing you do in the app is ever sent to us or anyone else. We do not collect any information.LocationSimple Speed asks for access to your location only while you are using the app ("While Using"). It uses GPS to measure your speed and the distance of your recordings. Your location is processed only on your device. It is never uploaded, stored on a server, or shared with anyone.Lock Screen SpeedWhen you are recording and Lock Screen Speed is turned on, GPS keeps running after you lock your phone or switch to another app, so your speed can stay on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island. This stops as soon as the recording is paused or stopped. You can turn Lock Screen Speed off in Settings, and GPS then stops whenever you leave the app. Simple Speed never asks for "Always" location access.Data Stored on Your DeviceYour settings and any recordings you save (their speed graph, distance, max, average, and time) are stored only on your device. Like all app data, they may be included in your device's own backups, which are controlled by you and Apple. Deleting the app removes all of this data.Children's PrivacySimple Speed does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.Changes to This PolicyIf this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new effective date.
